Will ‘Flip Or Flop’ Be Back? HGTV Talks Season 7

Update: “Insider source” report says the series has been cancelled by HGTV but that won’t stop next season for previously filmed episodes.

E! News reported on the show’s future following revelations of the pair’s split, saying that the series would continue on past 2016, but don’t expect it to go on much further.

With production for the next season still underway in 2017 the stars appear committed to their contract, but E!’s insider source says “the show will end after that.” Ouch!

As for Tarek and Christina, they’ve pledged to keep together on the professional front. The couple told E! News, “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.” And they’ve got HGTV backing them up as well. “We respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children. HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.”

So will Flip Or Flop be back? Looks like yes, we’ll get another season, but as for beyond that the future isn’t so certain.

Of course with the new Flip Or Flop spinoff series quickly approaching the void this could leave in HGTV’s schedule may be remedied without too much headache.

We hope they’ll work things out regarding the show because there will be a lot of addicted fans flopping around without new episodes again soon!
