A little over a week ago, People magazine reported about the surprise nuptial of Flip or Flop‘s host Christina El Moussa and Wheeler Dealers host Ant Anstead.
The couple marked their one year anniversary in October, using Instagram to express their undying love and devotion to one another.

A year ago today @ant_anstead called me for the first time and we spoke for 29 mins two days later while he was at Sema he FaceTimed me (I was thinking who FaceTimes) anyways I answered and we spoke for 2.5 hours … two days later we met for the first time and we’ve been inseparable ever since. #FATE @ant_anstead you have showed me what real unconditional love is. You take me for what I am, flawed and a bit crazy, and love all of me just the way I am. You have never once made me feel bad for anything in my past. You put me in my place when I need to be put there. Hold me when I’m having a bad day. I love this life with you. I love our blended family. I can’t wait to see where the next year takes us. The couple’s surpise ceremony took place a few days before Christmas on December 22, 2018. They invited 70 of their closest friends and family for the ceremony. Ant and Christina wanted to keep everything a surprise from the media and guests; they told all those invited that they were going to take a bus to see a Christmas boat parade. Guests were shocked to when they entered Ant and Christina’s Newport Beach home to find wedding decorations everywhere.
Christina credits her long-time friend and publicist Cassie Zebisch with keeping everything private, and playing a major role in the wedding preparations. If you’re worried about Christina’s ex, and Flip or Flop co-host, Tarek El Moussa, don’t, he has expressed that he will always care about her deeply but that he is very happy for Christina and her new husband.
Christina and Ant are excited about their new life with their blended family, siting the wedding as mainly being for their children.
“We wanted to make it about the kids,” says Anstead. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”
The couple celebrated their first Christmas together with their four children: Taylor (8), Brayden (3), Amelie (15), and Archie (12).
Christina has an exciting year ahead with her new marriage and an upcoming Flip or Flop spin-off. Christina has also already changed her name officially on Instagram from Christina El Moussa to Christina Anstead.
