Flip Or Flop Stars Say Business Is Even Better Following Divorce

Just one year ago, Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa shocked fans when they announced their separation and pending divorce.

The show’s future was uncertain at first, leaving many fans to think it would be canceled. But the HGTV stars continue to work together to this day and recently told Entrepreneur Magazine that things are better than ever as far as business is concerned.

“Whether Tarek and I are on camera or giving a seminar together for Success Path, that’s not the time nor place to discuss disagreements in our personal lives,” Christina told the magazine. “We believe in this company, and that means keeping our personal lives separate.”

Tarek echoed her thoughts.

“I remember how I worked my entire life to build this thing,” Tarek said. “I don’t want to throw it away because of a divorce. We are good at what we do,” he said. “We love flipping houses, and we enjoy delivering a great TV show that helps change people’s lives.”

The former couple also say they always put their kids first.

“Children come first, and that means doing things that are best for them,” Christina said. “In our children’s case, it was in their best interest to do things together.” Often that decision requires some sacrifice and adjustments on the parent’s part.”

Tarek says the whole experience actually made him even more present as a father.

“This experience has made me realize how important it is to be a big part of my kids’ lives,” he said. “I want my children to grow up with a dad who is always there for them.”

Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa’s version of Flip or Flop is currently on break, but both have been quoted as saying they’ll be back with a great new season by Spring 2018. However, Flip or Flop Ft. Worth currently airs on HGTV on Thursday nights.
